The C6 3-way component system from JL Audio brings serious punch, precision, and clarity to your car's audio game. JL Audio tuned these speakers with their incredible DMA-optimized motor geometry, flat linear spider for clean excursion, and a cast frame built to handle the heat. Two woofers, two mids, and two tweeters with external crossovers, plus fine mesh grilles and adapter rings, come with the package to allow mounting in a variety of vehicles.

Low-loss air-core inductors and laminated steel core inductors make for razor-sharp separation of the highs and lows.

Engineered for precision

Built with a mineral-filled polypropylene cone and a rubber surround, the C6 delivers low distortion and high detail. JL used their advanced DMA (Dynamic Motor Analysis) tech to fine-tune the motor structure, so the speaker hits clean and hard when you crank it. It's like a high-performance engine running smoothly at redline — less distortion and more control, every time you open it up. EFC (Elevated Frame Cooling) keeps things cool while the large-diameter flat spider allows excellent excursion.

Off-axis performance

The C6 tweeter uses an edge-driven silk dome for smooth, clean highs without the harshness. They're designed to sound clean, even when they're not pointed at you, so you don't have to be locked into a perfect seating position to hear the detail in vocals and instrumentals. Ferrofluid damping keeps the sound reproduction tight and controlled, with none of the crackle or tinny sounds you might get from a low-quality tweeter.
