Premium Detailing Packages

Toronto Auto Detailing

A proper hand wash and detail is required in order to properly upkeep your vehicle’s interior & exterior.  Like anything else, proper maintenance will prevent long term damage to your ride.  We understand no one has the facilities and time for this chore, and unfortunately many have resorted to low grade machine washes.  There are many negative impacts on your vehicle from this, recycled water, harsh chemicals, high pressure on touchless systems, and brushes that swirl your paint on the touch systems.  Let us take care of your ride with hand applied premium soaps, waxes, and dressings.

AUTO-LINKS NEW CAR PREP

Why would my brand new vehicle require a new car prep?
Whether you are a serious car enthusiast, or making a long term investment for yourself and your family, driving a brand new vehicle for the first time out of the dealership lot is one of the most exciting feelings.  For many, this purchase is one of the larger investments they will make, and the best way to protect your investment is having the vehicle interior & exterior treated properly before it gets exposed to extreme outdoor elements.  Traditionally, the dealership has been trusted for this service along with many “add-ons necessities” thinking that they will provide the best quality preparation & services.  However, most dealerships, due to size, sales volume, quotas, and unskilled technicians, usually end up rushing through these processes.  As we hear and see more & more horror stories, people are now learning to stay away from the dealership for this part of their vehicle purchase.
Many people do not know, but a “new” vehicle by the time it is delivered to you, has already traveled a long way.  After the production line, the vehicle will travel via freight train and/or ship to a distribution center.  From there, it is loaded onto a multi-vehicle stacked trailer, usually not covered, and driven to your dealership’s receiving lot.  There it will usually sit for a few weeks to a few months as it gets ready for your pre-delivery inspection, again outdoors.  Once the inspection is done, if you bought into any dealership “add-ons” (paint sealants,  window film, paint protection film, accessories) your vehicle would be serviced by an external third party shop which usually ends up in a rushed job.  Another problem with outsourced services is that the dealership usually marks up these prices up to 200%, by finding the lowest cost option and charging you at an extreme premium!  The vehicle is then sent to clean-up, which usually involves one or more unskilled detailer to remove shipping plastic, rushing through to wash & polish your vehicle, and applying low quality “bulk” wax & protectants.  This results in wax/sealant left over in jambs and trims, paint swirls from poor polishing/washing techniques, and poor protection for your exterior & interior.  Also they will usually drill holes into your brand new front bumper to mount the license plate (which is required in Ontario), however there are now many options now to mount your license plate without drilling 4-6 holes into your brand new bumper!  By the time you are handed your keys, probably 2 dozen people have driven & or touched your vehicle.

How to maximize your new vehicle experience, please request from your dealership:
  • Not to remove any of the transportation film
  • Not to polish any painted areas that are not covered in film
  • Not to apply any chemicals on the interior or exterior of the vehicle
  • Not to drill any holes in the front bupmper, they can usually provide or you can source an aftermarket mount
  • Not to install any 3rd party products including paint sealants, window film, paint protection film, or accessories
